Students of Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (Buet) will be able to lodge written complaint over ragging or any other form of abuse through an online form, says a written notice issued by Buet today.

The authority concerned of the university today has issued some notices signed by the Acting Registrar of the university Professor Dr Md Saidur Rahman.

A disciplinary committee formed by Buet authority will investigate into the complaints and if found the allegation true, the committee will arrange for speedy trial and ensure the victim of giving highest penalty to the perpetrator.

The university authority will also install CCTV (Closed Circuit Television) camera on both sides of all wings in all floors of the campus.

However, Buet authority also issued another notice that says the Director of Students' Welfare Association of the university will begin the drive of vacating the illegally occupied seats, and locking the offices of students' political wings from tomorrow.

If anyone tries to restart student organizational politics inside the campus, the authority will take necessary actions against them.

Moreover, the university has ensured of providing Abrar's family with all kinds of financial help during the trial of Abrar Fahad's murder case.

Earlier, Buet authority has banned all types of student politics in the campus in the wake of massive protest by the Buet students.
