British Council launches 'Library On the Go'
The members can also access over 8,000 movies, short feature films, and documentaries
British Council Bangladesh has inaugurated a digital library in the dire time of pandemic when many students and book enthusiasts are finding it difficult to visit, read and collect books from their physical outlets throughout the country.
Their latest initiative "Library on the go" contains 2,000 journals from JSTOR; over 15,000 journals from ProQuest Central, 120,000 e-books and audiobooks, and e-magazines including Economists, Amateur Photographer, and New Scientist, said a press release.
The members can also access over 8,000 movies, short feature films, and documentaries.
Around 8,000 e-newspapers from across 100 nations can be accessed along with 40,000 online learning module, e-resources for children, over 16,000 graphic novels and e-comics, theatre performance, music documentaries, and stream live concerts in exchange of a small fee.
