8 teams enter final round of BRANDrill 2020
The third and final round of the competition will be held on 5 November, 2020
The names of the eight finalist teams of BRANDrill 2020 were announced on Saturday, after the successful completion of the first two rounds of the competition.
BRANDrill 2020 is going to hold its third and final round on 5 November, 2020.
BRANDrill is the flagship case competition arranged by the Voice of Business club – the first and only business magazine club of the Faculty of Business Studies, University of Dhaka.
Over 200 teams participated in this year's competition.
The first round of the competition began on 15 October through online case submissions, and the results of that round were published on 20 October, read a press release from the organisers on Sunday.
From there, 40 teams qualified for the second – semi-final – round, which commenced on 22 October.
The semi-finalists were judged on the basis of their online OVC submissions. An online workshop regarding everything related to branding was organised on the same day the semi-final round began.
After a lot of anticipation, the results of the second round were published on 31 October, and the eight best teams were chosen to compete in the final round.
They are expected to give online presentations, based on which three teams will be declared the champion, first runner-up or second runner-up.
The champion team will receive prize money of Tk50,000, the first runner-up will win Tk30,000 and the second runner-up will get Tk20,000.
In addition to that, they will be provided crests and certificates.
All the rounds of this year's IPDC Presents BRANDrill 2020 Powered by Eclectic Education competition are being conducted online due to the current adverse situation.

The Voice of Business club has been arranging seminars, workshops, writing contests, and case competitions for the last 12 years and has published 10 magazines to date in the Faculty of Business Studies since 2007.
This year, the Voice of Business has organised BRANDrill for the third time. The competition was launched in 2017 and was held for the second time in 2018.
The competition is based on marketing and branding and is widely popular among students of public and private universities across Bangladesh.
