43rd BCS preliminary exam rescheduled to 29 October

Bangladesh Public Service Commission (BPSC) has rescheduled the 43rd civil service preliminary examination date and fixed it on 29 October.

Exam venues, seat plans and other information will be published later on the commission's website and media, said a BPSC circular on Tuesday evening.

Earlier, the examination was scheduled to be held on 15 October.

Online application for the 43rd BCS started on 30 December, 2020 and continued until 31 March, 2021.

According to the notification of the 43rd BCS, 1,814 officers will be recruited in different cadres in this BCS. Of these, 300 will be appointed in administration cadre, 100 in police cadre, 25 in foreign cadre, 743 for education cadre, 35 in audit, 22 in information, 19 in tax, 14 in customs, and 19 in cooperatives.
