A maximum of 1.5 lakh students from each of the three sections will be allowed to sit in the cluster-based admission tests of the 20 general and science and technology universities.

The cluster-based intake tests will be held under humanities, commerce and science sections, on respectively 19 June, 26 June and 3 July.

All information regarding the admission tests have been made available on the website concerned, reports Prothom Alo.

Under the cluster system, an aspirant will be allowed to seat in a single examination. Later, the authorities will recommend a subject and university coordinating with his or her choice list and merit position in the test.

The application process will commence on 1 April and continue till 15 April. On the basis of scores of secondary and higher secondary examinations, the authority will select a certain number of students for sitting in admission tests.

Later, the selected ones have to apply for the second time between 24 April and 25 May. They will seat in examinations at a total of 31 centers.

However, the students have to put at least five centers on the preferred list.

The admission test will be taken in questions of 100 marks. The merit list will be prepared on the basis of the scores obtained by the candidates and will be published on the website concerned.

Each university will then call for applications separately stating its own requirements and will complete further admission process according to the merit order.
