DU offices to remain closed during lockdown
Emergency services such as water, electricity, gas, medical care, safety and sanitation will remain out of the restrictions
The offices of the Dhaka University (DU) will remain closed during the lockdown from 5 to 11 April.
The urgent services of the Registrar's Office will be carried out with a very limited number of manpower, said a press release on Sunday.
However, emergency services such as water, electricity, gas, medical care, safety and sanitation will remain out of the restrictions. Those involved in emergency services are being requested to follow proper hygiene rules, it added.
The university authority urged the outsiders not to enter the campus and at the same time requested the relevant law enforcement agencies to strengthen the overall security of the campus during the lockdown, said the press release.
