Do not pay heed to any rumour: Home Minister

Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan urged countrymen not to pay heed to any rumour as it can ignite violence like Bhola and Ramu attacks.    

He made the remark today while addressing Community Policing Day-2019 at Rajarbagh Police Line Auditorium in the capital.

He told the community police to spread correct information to the general people and police as it will help reduce corruption and clashes.   

Dhaka Metropolitan Police Commissioner Md Shafiqul Islam, Additional Inspector General of police Dr Mainur Rahman Chowdhury and Additional Commissioner of Counter Terrorism and Transnational Crime Monirul Islam, among others, were present at the programme.
