DNCC starts mosquito killing drive in hospital areas

Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC) on Sunday launched a week-long drive to destroy mosquitoes and their breeding grounds in and surrounding areas of different hospitals in its areas. 

In a bid to protect patients, doctors, nurses and other hospital staff from mosquito, the city corporation initiated this drive, said a media statement. 

Besides, the DNCC is also conducting drives to kill mosquitoes in nursery premises of its territory. 

On the first day of drive, the DNCC conducted operations on 46 hospital premises to destroy mosquitoes and their breeding grounds, spraying larvicides and adulticides to kill mosquito larvae and adult mosquitoes. 

Besides this special drive, the DNCC is continuing its regular drives to destroy breeding ground of mosquitoes in its territory.
