DNCC to import mosquito control pesticides from Spain

Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC) Mayor Md Atiqul Islam today said that high-quality pesticides is set to be imported from Spain for mosquito control.

The mayor made the remarks during a courtesy call on Spanish Ambassador to Bangladesh Francisco de Asis Benitez Salas at the DNCC's Nagar Bhaban in capital's Gulshan on Sunday.

The Spanish ambassador said that all possible cooperation would be extended to import high quality pesticides from Spain. 

He also mentioned that Spain is interested in working with DNCC on eco-friendly urban transport system, urban greening, recycling, smart city and overall municipal management.

"Spain has a lot of good experience in urban management, which we would like to share with the DNCC," he said.
