DMP gets new DC for Prosecution Division

The Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) has appointed a new Deputy Commissioner (DC) Md Jafor Hossain in the Prosecution Division. 

Jafor, a superintendent of police from the 24th Bangladesh Civil Service, took charge this week according to a press release issued on Wednesday. 

"The DMP Prosecution Department will give the best effort to serve justice. No stone will be unturned to ensure quick disposal of criminal cases," the DC said.

Previously, Jafor Hossain was serving as the Prosecution Department DC of Khulna Metropolitan Police.
