A fire broke out in a garment factory in Khoyajnagar area on the south bank of the River Karnaphuli in Chattogram around 7pm on Sunday.
Ali Akbar, deputy assistant director of the Agrabad fire station, told The Business Standard that the fire broke out at an under construction building of the factory named Golden Sun Limited and that 10 vehicles of 4 stations were working to bring the fire under control.
He added that they are having difficulties in bringing the fire under control, as the building is under construction.
The cause of the fire is yet to be determined, he said.
