CoxDA distributes relief goods among newspaper hawkers
Necessary commodities were distributed among 32 hawkers in Baharchara gol chattar of Cox’s Bazar town
The Cox's Bazar Development Authority (CoxDA) chairperson Lt Colonel (retd) Forkan Ahmad has distributed relief materials amid the newspaper hawkers, who are currently unemployed due to the outbreak of coronavirus across the country.
Necessary commodities were distributed among 32 hawkers in Baharchara gol chattar of Cox's Bazar town on Sunday.
Shahidul Haque, chairman of Cox's Bazar hawker welfare association said that they were badly affected by the coronavirus impacts. So, many of them are jobless now.
We thank the chairperson of CoxDa for supporting us in our needs, he said.
The CoxDa chairperson has also distributed relief materials to more than a hundred families on the same day in Cox's Bazar Sadar area.
Forkan Ahmed said, "It's a moral responsibility for all the people who can afford to help the people who need it at this hectic time."
