Rail communication between Sylhet and Dhaka has been restored after four hours of disruption.

The rail service was suspended after trees fell on the railway line in Lawachara National Park on Tuesday (25 October).

The stranded Chattogram to Sylhet bound Paharika Express left Srimangal Railway Station at 9:30 PM, said Abdul Aziz, assistant station master of Srimangal Railway Station.

Earlier, the Dhaka to Sylhet bound Kalni Express and Chattogram to Sylhet bound Paharika Express were stranded at Satgaon and Srimangal railway stations, respectively.
