Czech Republic, Indonesia, Nicaragua greet PM Hasina on reelection

The Czech Republic, Indonesia, and Nicaragua have congratulated Sheikh Hasina on her reelection as the Prime Minister of Bangladesh.

The leaders of the three nations pledged their keen interest in enhancing bilateral cooperation and collaboration across various common interests. 

In a greeting message written to the Bangladesh premier, Czech Republic Prime Minister Petr Fiala said, "I deeply value the friendly relations the Czech Republic and Bangladesh enjoy and I believe that we will continue to deepen and strengthen them to the mutual benefit of our countries." 

He also assured Sheikh Hasina of his country's interest in developing cooperation both on a bilateral level and in international organisations in all areas of common interest, reports BSS.

"I wish you every success in your demanding work for the well-being of the people of Bangladesh," he added.

Additionally, Nicaragua President Daniel Ortega Saavedra and Vice President Rosario Murillo have congratulated Sheikh Hasina on her re-election as prime minister of Bangladesh, reports UNB. 

In a letter written to the prime minister, the Nicaraguan leaders said, "We convey our sincere and warm congratulations for your victory during the Parliamentary Elections held on last 7 January, which resulted in your re-election as prime minister of Bangladesh."

They wished success for her and the government during the new term.

"And we are certain that you will accomplish new achievements for the well-being of the Families of the People of Bangladesh," they said.

Both the leaders added, "With admiration and respect, we reiterate our interest in continuing to strengthen our historic relations of brotherhood and solidarity."

In a greeting letter sent to the Bangladesh PM, Indonesian President Joko Widodo, popularly known as Jokowi, wrote "Your appointment to this esteemed and consequential office exemplifies the profound respect and unwavering confidence bestowed upon you by the people of Bangladesh."

He mentioned that he has full confidence in Sheikh Hasina's illustrious career and vast experience, which shall undoubtedly furnish her with ample support and resources to steer Bangladesh towards a future brimming with prosperity.

Joko Widodo said over more than five decades, the two countries' bond has steadily flourished and now is the time for it to reach unprecedented heights.

"I am filled with utmost confidence that we shall discover means through which we can enhance our collaborative efforts to seize the unparalleled opportunities of our era."
