A 19-year-old named Nahid was killed following personal enmity at Pahartali area under Khulshi Thana in Chattogram on Sunday evening.

According to Pranab, there had been enmity between Nahid and another youth named Sohel Hossain of the Pahartali area. As a sequel to that, they locked in an altercation on Sunday evening. At one stage, Sohel stabbed Nahid with a screwdriver. Critically injured Nahid was rushed to the Agrabad Maternity and Child Hospital where doctors declared him dead.

Local people said that accused Sohel was working at a workshop in the area.
