Three ‘members’ of Allahr Dal held in Dhaka

A case was filed with the South Keraniganj Police Station under the Anti-Terrorism Act

The Anti-Terrorism Unit (ATU) of Police have arrested three suspected members of the banned militant outfit 'Allahr Dal'.

They were arrested from the BegunBari Jame Masjid area of Dhaka's South Keraniganj on Wednesday morning.

The arrestees are Abdullah Al Hasnat alias Kallol, 39, Md Aminul Islam alias Shetu, 30, and Md Fazle Karim alias Shohag, 32.  

S M Jahidul Hasan ATU's, Superintendent of Police a with the Anti-Terrorism Unit, said the arrestees have confessed to their involvement with the militant organisation.

In this connection, a case was filed with the South Keranigang Police Station under the Anti-Terrorism Act.
