Stamford student Rumpa’s boyfriend detained

The detective branch of police has detained Rumpa's boyfriend Saikat for quizzing.
DB source confirmed the matter to The Business Standard.
Earlier on Wednesday night, a young woman named Rubaiya Sharmin Rumpa, 21, was found dead in the Siddheshwari area of the capital.
She was a second-year student at the English department of Stamford University Bangladesh.
Rumpa might have been raped before being murdered, said the forensic doctor who performed an autopsy on her body.
The girl's hands, legs, waist and spinal cord were fractured, he added.
