Singer detained with yaba tablets

Law enforcers held a singer with yaba pills during an anti-narcotics drive at her house at Khilgaon in the capital on Tuesday.

A team of Narcotics Control Department led by Inspector AKM Kamrul Islam of Ramna Zone conducted a raid at the house of BTV-listed singer Suborna Rupa and seized 107 pieces of yaba tablets from her possession.

During primary interrogation, the singer admitted that he had been addicted to narcotics for a long time.

Based on her statement, the law enforcers detained her associate Rubel.
