Rifat murder: Two more confess

Two other accused have already admitted to their roles in the killing

 Two more accused in Rifat Sharif murder case have reportedly confessed to their crimes before a court here on Thursday.

Chandan and Md Hasan were produced before court where Senior Judicial Magistrate Gazi Md Sirajul Islam recorded their statement at 8pm, said investigation officer Inspector Md Humayun Kabir.  

Two other accused – Oli and Tanvir – had also confessed to their crimes before the court. 

Rifat, 22, was hacked to death by criminals in front of his wife Ayesha Siddika Minni in broad daylight in the district town on June 26. The incident was caught on surveillance camera.

Police have arrested 10 people so far. The main accused, Sabbir Ahmed alias Nayon Bond, was killed in a reported gunfight with police in the Sadar upazila last week.
