RAB now raids Samrat's residence, another office
Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) members have started raiding Casino kingpin Ismail Hossain Chowdhury Samrat's Mohakhali DOHS residence on Saturday afternoon.
RAB-2 Commanding Officer Ashik Billah is leading the raid.
Confirming the matter to The Business Standard, RAB Media Wing's Senior Assistant Director Mizanur Rahman Bhuiyan said, two other RAB teams are raiding Samrat's another office at Dhanmandi 27 and his brother's residence at Shantinagar in the capital.
Earlier, RAB raided Samrat's Kakrail office.
The elite force arrested Samrat, the president of Dhaka City South Jubo League, from Cumilla's Chauddagram at around 5am in the morning.
Samrat tried to flee the country through Cumilla border. He took position at a house in Chauddagram before making a move to escape.
