RAB arrests 13 mobile banking frauds

Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested 13 members of fraud gangs, who used to target mobile banking users and misappropriated money from them by collecting PIN numbers through various tricks.
Sujoy Sarker, assistant director, Legal and Media wing of RAB confirmed the matter to The Business Standard.
He said, RAB-8 and RAB-2 arrested them on Saturday from Dhaka and Bhanga upazila of Faridpur in different raids.
Tk14.5 lakh and some equipment, which were used in forgery, were recovered from their possession, he added.
