Prime accused of Dhanmondi double-murder arrested

Police have arrested domestic help Surovi, the prime accused of Dhanmondi double-murder, from capital's Sher-e-Bangla Nagar tonight.
After arresting her at around 9.30pm, Sher-E-Bangla Nagar Police handed her over to Dhanmondi police.
Confirming the matter to The Business Standard, Sher-E-Bangla Nagar Police Station Officer in-charge Jane Alam Munshi said, "We arrested Surovi while she was escaping on a rickshaw."
An elderly woman was brutally killed along with her domestic help last Friday at a Dhanmondi house.
