‘Poacher’ held with 25 kg venison in Mongla 

Police have arrested a suspected poacher along with 25 kilogram venison from Shahjalal area in Bagerhat's Mongla area.

The arrestee was identified as Mizan Sheikh, 38, son of Idris Sheikh, resident of the area.

Iqbal Bahar Chowdhury, officer-in-charge of Mongla Police Station said that, on secret information, a team of police raided in the house of Mizan and arrested him.

Later, the venison was seized from his house, said the OC adding that the process is underway to file a case against the arrestee.
