One held for harassing female doctors on IEDCR hotline

Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) today arrested one man for making fake calls and harassing female doctors on the the Institute of Epidemiology, Disease Control and Research (IEDCR) hotlines.

According to RAB sources, he was arrested from capital's Hatirjheel area by tracking call, reported Somoy TV.

Some members of a racket used offensive words to the female doctors on the IEDCR hotline numbers. The gang used several applications to make calls, according to RAB.

IEDCR has opened the hotline numbers to serve the nation in the crisis time of the novel coronavirus outbreak in the country.
