Efforts underway to arrest accused, police say

A man was accused of raping a ready-made garment (RMG) worker in Maikali area of Rupganj upazilla in Narayanganj.
The victim, a worker at B. Brothers Garments Co. Ltd, on Sunday (Nov 24) filed the case with Rupganj Police Station, accusing 26-year-old Swapan Biswas, Officer-in-charge of the police station Mahmudul Hasan told The Business Standard.
According to the case statement that Swapan, who also resides in Maikali area of Rupganj, often stalked and harassed the girl on her way to home.

On November 7, the accused had entered the victim's house by force and raped her.
The OC said that efforts were underway to arrest the accused.
