Detained Jubo League leader Khalid Mahmud Bhuiyan was handed over to police on Thursday.

Sarwar Bin Kashem, director of legal and media wing of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB), said two different cases – one under Arms Act and another under Narcotics Control Act – will be filed against him (Khalid) for running illegal casino business.

"Names of some political leaders came up during interrogation of the detained Jubo League leader; we will not publish those names immediately," said an official of RAB's intelligence wing.

On Wednesday, a team of RAB-1 detained Khalid, organising secretary of Dhaka City South chapter of Jubo League, from his Gulshan residence for running the casino illegally.
