A Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) team on Thursday night raided a liquor store in the capital's Gulshan and seized a large consignment of alcohol.
They seized 386 bottles of foreign liquor, 85 bottles of phensedyl and Tk7 lakh from Eastern Diplomatic Warehouse.
Sarwar Alam, executive magistrate of RAB said, RAB and the Customs Bond Comissionarate conducted a joint drive at the store and seized the liquor.
"The warehouse is unauthorised. It provided liquor to casinos. That is why RAB shut it down," he said.
He also said legal action would be taken against the store authorities under the narcotics control act.
