Legal action against Ainul Islam underway

The Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) has arrested Ainul Islam, former president of Mohammadpur Thana Chhatra League, on charges of embezzling Trading Corporation of Bangladesh (TCB) oil.
RAB-2 Commander Lt Col Ashiq Billah confirmed that Ainul was arrested at the capital's Mohammapur Friday afternoon.
He, however, added that his political identity was not being investigated.
Another RAB official said the RAB had information that 2,600 bottles of oil were extracted from TCB and 120 litres of oil was recovered from him.
Legal action against Ainul Islam was underway, he added.
Another officer of RAB-2 said, Ainul Islam is the former president of Mohammadpur Thana Chhatra League.
