Five held over ‘making’ Commerce Ministry fake website in Chattogram

CID Special Police Superintendent of Chattogram Md Shahnewaz Khaled said they were arrested in drives for the past few days and three among them already confessed at court.
Criminal Investigation Department (CID) arrested five people as they allegedly made a fake website of the Commerce Ministry to unload the imported goods from the Chattogram port.
 
The arrestees were Golam Mawla Khan, owner of Khan Enterprise, his brother Golam Rasul Khan, Abul Khayer Parvez, website developer, Md Atikur Rahman, Rahat Haidar Chowdhury.

Chattogram Customs House filed a case in this regard on October 29 under the Digital Security Act.
