Fahim Saleh's murderer to be placed in court on August 19

Tyrese Devon Haspil, the arrested suspect of the murder of Fahim Saleh, will be be placed before US court on August 19. 

He was scheduled to be produced in court on August 16, reports Prothom Alo. 

According to the sources of court, Haspil will be arraigned in New York Criminal Court (Part 19) on August 19. Mitchell and Neville Anil Dexter have been named as legal aid lawyers in Haspel's case.

Earlier on July 13, popular ride sharing plarform Pathao's co-founder Fahim Saleh was found decapitated and dismembered on inside his luxury condo on East Houston Street of New York.

Later, his personal assistant, Tyrese Devon Haspil, 21 was arrested by New York Police as a suspect on July 17. According to the detectives, the motive behind the killing was Saleh finding out that the assistant stole tens of thousands of dollars from him. Saleh did not report the assistant and set up a repayment plan for the assistant to return the money, one of the officials told the New York Times.

Haspil is expected to be charged in a criminal complaint with second degree murder and other crimes.
