Jubo League leader Md Rabbi Shakil alias DJ Shakil and his two cohorts have been placed on five days remand in a case filed over loan fraud.

Bogura Senior Judicial Magistrate Billal Hossain granted the remand when police produced them before the court today with 10-day remand plea.

The case was filed by Bogura businessman Md Amanat Ullah Tareq, who claims to be one of his victims of loan scam.

Investigating officer (IO) of Detective Police Officer-in-Charge (OC) Aslam Ali said that DJ Shakil had been deceiving people for quite some times.

In a case filed with Bogura Sadar Police Station on August 12, the plaintiff complained that DJ Shakil siphoned off Tk14.35 lakh in the name of approving loan from his company International Loan Service.
