Alal's father Mojahar Ali Fakir filed the case against accused Ratan and another coworker

A case has been filed over death of a 12-year-old Bogura boy named Alal, who died after his co-worker pumped air into his body through his rectum.

Alal's father Mojahar Ali Fakir filed the case against accused Ratan and another coworker, said Zia Latiful Islam, Officer-in-Charge of Kahalu Police Station.

Co-worker Ratan pumped air into Alal's body through his rectum at Afrin Jute Mill at Kahalu upazila in Bogura on Friday.

"Alal suffered great organ and cell damage due to the immense pressure and speed of air pumped into his body, causing his death," the doctors informed after autopsy.

Dr Md Mobin Ul Islam, assistant professor of the Forensic Department at Shaheed Ziaur Rahman Medical College Hospital and Dr Amirul Hossain, Head of the Forensic Department at Shaheed Monsur Ali Medical College Hospital, confirmed the matter today after the autopsy.

Nazmul Haque, Alal's uncle, said, "Alal took a job at Afrin Jute Mill in the upazila a few months ago alongside his mother and aunt to support his family financially. Ratan called Alal before the incident. Some of the workers found bloodied Alal on the spot after they heard screams."
