6kg gold seized from a Biman flight

Dhaka airport customs officials have seized 6kg gold worth Tk3 crore from under seat of a Biman Bangladesh flight that arrived here from Oman today.
A preventive team of Dhaka Custom House seized the consignment at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport.
"Working on a tip-off customs officials stood alert on every point," said Sazzad Hossain, assistant commissioner of Custom House.
"50 gold bars were found around 8am in the morning at boarding bridge, hidden under the seat No 22c of flight BG022," he added.
The gold bars weigh 5kg 800 gm. No one was arrested in this connection.
