6 ‘criminals’ held in capital

Members of Cyber and Special Crime Division of Detective Branch (DB) of Police have arrested six suspected members of a criminal gang from the capital on the charge of extortion.
According to sources, they were engaged in extorting money addressing them members of Dhaka's top criminal gang ''Seven Star.''
However, the details about the arrestees could not be known yet.
Additional Commissioner of Police of Detective Branch A.K.M. Hafiz Akhter, BPM-Bar will brief at DB gate at 12noon Saturday on this regard, said a press release.
