Sarwar Alam seeks unconditional apology to High Court

Sarwar Alam, the executive magistrate of the Rapid Action Battalion (RAB), has sought unconditional apology to the High Court (HC) for not giving the certified copy of order on punishing a man in a mobile court even after four months.
"I will be careful in the future," Sarwar Alam told the court of Justice M Enyateur Rahim and Justice Md Mostafizur Rahman on Sunday.
Later the court ordered the home secretary to provide necessary manpower and equipment to RAB for operating mobile courts.
Advoacte Masud Hasan Chowdhury Parag stood for Sarwar Alam and Attorney General Mahbubey Alam and Deputy Attorney General Amit Talukdar represented the state.
On November 18, High Court summoned Sarwar Alam and issued a ruling asking to explain why the inactivity of RAB headquarters on giving the attested copy case No 440/2019 would not be declared illegal and why it should not be ordered to submit the copy within five working days.
On July 18, Sarwar Alam punished Md. Mizan Mia, hailing from Siddhirganj area of Narayanganj and manager of Topu Enterprise under the law of Fish and Animal Food Law 210 with one year of imprisonment. After that he was sent to prison.
On July 21, Mizan's lawyer advocate Anjan Das sought for a copy of the order to appeal to the district magistrate. But the copy was not found. So Mizan could not file appeal petition.
