Chattogram port chairman summoned for not implementing court order

The High Court today summoned Chattogram Port chairman Zulfikar Aziz to explain why a court order was not implemented.
The bench of Justice Moinul Islam and Justice Khondoker Diliruzzaman oredered him to appear before it on January 26 and give the explanation.
Zulfikar Aziz told journalists that, the court ordered him to appear before it and give explanation on why illegal establishments on the bank of the Karnaphuli River was not eradicated as per the court order.
The court also ordered the eviction of illegal establishments before January 26, he added.
