Barrister Suman resigns from war crimes tribunal

Barrister Suman submitted the resignation letter to the chief prosecutor of the tribunal this morning

Supreme Court lawyer Barrister Syed Sayedul Haque Suman has resigned as prosecutor of the International Crimes Tribunal.

Confirming the matter to the media, Barrister Suman said he submitted the resignation letter to the chief prosecutor of the tribunal this morning.

"Due to other engagement in social works, I could not give required time to the tribunal, hence I resign," he added.
