A Dhaka court granted bail to BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir and 35 other leaders and activists of the party in two cases filed for vandalism.
Dhaka Metropolitan Sessions Court Judge KM Imrul Kayes granted the bail after hearing on Sunday.
Public Prosecution Tapas Kumar Pal confirmed the matter to the media.
BNP Standing Committee member Gayeshwar Chandra Ray, Joint Secretary General Khairul Kabir Khokon and Syed Moazzem Hossain Alal are among the BNP leaders who secured bail.
