Couple stabbed to death in Gazipur

A couple was stabbed to death in their bedroom in Basugaon area of Gazipur's Pubail on Wednesday night.

The deceased were Abul Kalam, 40, and Putul Begum, 28, said Officer-in-Charge of Pubail Police Station Nazmul Haque Bhuiyan.

Police recovered the bodies from the room this morning being informed by locals.

Later, they sent the bodies to Gazipur's Shaheed Taj Uddin Ahmad Medical College Hospital for autopsy.

The reason behind the murder could not be known yet.

The police were investigating into the matter, said the OC.
