Tipu Munshi said Bangladesh's export-oriented industrial sector was facing problems due to the global coronavirus crisis
Commerce Minister Tipu Munshi has called on landlords to consider the rent of industrial workers with sympathy.
He said Bangladesh's export-oriented industrial sector was facing problems due to the global coronavirus crisis and the economic effect of coronavirus had affected the industry workers, according to a press release issued on Tuesday.
Under such circumstances, the minister urged homeowners to consider workers' house rents.
"If we are sympathetic, our workers will be able to overcome the current crisis with some relief and contribute more to the export sector in the future," he added.
