IS claims responsibility for Saturday’s blast in Dhaka

SITE Intelligence Group tweeted the matter of IS claim few hours after the explosion.

Islamic State (IS), a jihadi militants’ group, has claimed the responsibility for the bomb attack targeting a minister’s vehicle in Dhaka on Saturday night that injured two policemen.

SITE Intelligence Group, an American organisation that tracks online activity of white supremacist and jihadist organisations, tweeted the matter of IS claim few hours after the explosion.

On Saturday night, unidentified miscreants threw a handmade bomb targeting Local Government and Rural Development (LGRD) Minister Tajul Islam’s car at capital's Science Laboratory intersection. 

Two policemen - ASI Sahabuddin and constable Aminul - of minister's protocol team sustained injuries in the attack. They were taken to Dhaka Medical College Hospital.
