Child rescued in Brahmanbaria crying, looking for mother

A three-year-old girl was rescued by Brahmanbaria Sadar model police from the city's Faruki Park yesterday.

The child could only tell her name is Adi and her father's name is Sohrab.

According to the police, the child was found crying in front of one of the food stalls in Faruki Park. The shopkeeper took Adi and gave her to a local woman who handed her over to a flapjack seller outside the city's stadium.

Later, the police rescued and brought the child to the police station after receiving the news.

The police have not been able to locate her parents yet.

Mohammad Selim Uddin, officer-in-charge of Brahmanbaria Sadar Model Police Station, said, "The child is currently in police custody and we are looking for her parents in every way possible."
