Chattogram gets new divisional commissioner

Md Abdul Mannan, the outgoing divisional commissioner of Chattogram, has been transferred to the Land Reform Board as its chairman
A B M Azad, the additional secretary of the secondary and higher education division, has been appointed as the new divisional commissioner of Chattogram.
The public administration ministry on Monday issued a gazette notification appointing the new divisional commissioner for Chattogram.
In a separate notification, Md Abdul Mannan, the outgoing divisional commissioner of Chattogram, has been transferred to the Land Reform Board as its chairman.
Earlier on 11 September 2017, Md Abdul Mannan took charge as the divisional commissioner of Chattogram and he was the deputy commissioner of Chattogram from October 21, 2012 to April 10, 2014.
Prior to that Md Abdul Mannan was the deputy commissioner of Brahmanbaria.
