Current Cabinet Secretary Md Shafiul Alam will take charge as Alternative Director of the World Bank.

Cabinet getting new secretary

The government is going to appoint Senior Secretary of Bridges Division Khandekar Anwarul Islam as cabinet secretary.

Current Cabinet Secretary Md Shafiul Alam will take charge as Alternative Director of the World Bank.

Finance Minister AHM Mustafa Kamal made the disclosure to the media after a meeting at the Secretariat on Wednesday.

A gazette notification will be issued soon in this regard, the minister added.
