Build Bangladesh International Expo to begin October 17

A three-day international exhibition on infrastructure development will start at the International Convention City Bashundhara on October 17. 

The exhibition titled "26th Build Bangladesh International Expo 2019," which was previously known as Con-Expo, will be organised by the CEMS Global.

A total of six different exhibitions – "22nd Power Bangladesh Expo 2019", "17th Solar Bangladesh Expo 2019", "2nd Dhaka International Lighting Expo 2019", "3rd Water Bangladesh International Expo 2019", "20th Real Estate Expo- Bangladesh 2019" & "4th International Safety & Security Expo" - will be held under its umbrella.

The expos will remain opened for all visitors from 10:30am to 8pm on the event days.

In this regard, the CEMS Global held a press conference at Economics Reporters' Forum(ERF) auditorium in the capital on Sunday.

Meherun N Islam, president and managing director of CEMS Global USA and Asia Pacific, said a total of 267 companies from 16 countries will join the exhibition with more than 300 stalls this year.

The participating countries are Bangladesh, India, China, Sweden, Germany, Italy, USA, Uzbekistan, UAE, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, Egypt, Sri Lanka, Finland and Turkey.

"The participation of those countries will bring forth the latest and innovative concepts, equipment, technologies and services related to infrastructure development," Mehrun N Islam added.
