Bodies of siblings recovered from Brahmanbaria

Police have recovered the bodies of two siblings in Bancharampur upazila of Brahmanbaria.

The deceased are Kamrul Islam, 10 and Shifa Akhtar, 14.

According to police, Kamrul and Shifa could not be found since Monday evening. The incident was reported to the police. Later at night, the family members discovered their bodies under two beds in two rooms of their house.

Upon receiving the news, the police rushed to the spot around 9:30 pm and recovered the bodies of the deceased.

Bancharampur Police Station's Inspector (investigation) Raju Ahmed said, "There were signs of injuries on the bodies of the deceased. Why and how this murder was done is being investigated. The bodies are being sent to the District Sadar Hospital morgue for autopsy."
