BNP has sent a letter asking for a meeting with the Inspector General of Police (IGP) Benazir Ahmed.

The four-member delegation team will talk on holding year-long programmes on the occasion of 50th anniversary of independence of Bangladesh.

The delegation led by BNP Chairperson's Adviser Abdus Salam, Adviser Bijan Kanti Sarkar, Publicity Secretary Shahid Uddin Chowdhury Annie and Liberation War Affairs Secretary Colonel (retd) Zainul Abedin will go to meet the IGP.
