Biman’s new app offers 10% discount on tickets

Biman Bangladesh Airlines on Saturday launched its own mobile app, which will offer users a 10 percent discount on tickets.

Managing Director of Biman, Mokabbir Hossain, said every ticket purchased using the app will come with the discount.

He said the discount would be valid throughout 2020.

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina inaugurated the app named "Biman Bangladesh Airlines" at a programme at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in the capital.

Passengers can purchase flight tickets for all Biman routes using the app. They can pay with bKash, Rocket or any payment card.

Through the app, travellers will be able to find out all information about flights, flight status, flight schedule, addresses of sales centres, online ticket and refund helpdesk, ticket booking and seat scheduling.

The app can be downloaded from the Google Play or the App Store on any smartphone.
