A man was killed in a road accident in Muradpur area of Chattogram city on Friday morning.
Deceased Mokammel Haque Chowdhury, 50, was an officer of AB Bank Limited. He was son of Mostafizur Rahman of Satkania upazila in Chattogram.
Assistant Sub Inspector of Chattogram Medical College Hospital police outpost Alauddin Talukder said a bus hit Mokammel while he was crossing the road in Muradpur area, leaving him dead on the spot.

Police seized the bus but its driver and helper managed to flee the spot, he added.
