Banglalink distributes relief among Sunamganj flood victims

A total of 450 flood-affected families in Sunamganj are receiving the aid from Banglalink

Banglalink, one of the leading telecommunications company in the country, has distributed relief among flood-affected families in Sunamganj with the assistance from Bangladesh Red Crescent Society (BDRCS). 

As part of the relief distribution programme in three districts, a total of 450 flood-affected families in Sunamganj will receive the aid from Banglalink. 

Taimur Rahman, chief corporate and regulatory affairs officer of the company distributed the relief among 130 flood-affected families on behalf of the organization at Sunamganj Red Crescent Unit Office on Thursday.  

"As a socially responsible corporate organization, Banglalink has always tried to extend a helping hand to the communities affected by natural calamities. We are distributing the relief material with a view to facilitating the post-flood rehabilitation process in these areas," he said.

Among others, Md Shariful Islam, Additional District Commissioner (General) of Sunamganj and Alhajj Md Matiur Rahman Pir (Adv), Unit Secretary of BDRCS, Sunamganj were present at the programme. 

Banglalink will distribute flood-relief among a total of 1,250 flood-affected families in the three regions including Kurigram and Sirajganj.
